In addition to web design, AldaT Custom Information Solutions specializes in web based applications. These applications use the Microsoft™ Distributed interNet Application (DNA) architecture. Building applications in this manner allows us to build fully functional software programs that are available wherever an internet connection is available. By using a combination of our custom security model and industry standards such as Secure Socket Layers (SSL), we can regulate who does or does not have access to the applications.

The three tiered DNA model modularizes the application into three distinct parts. The "front end" can be built to run entirely within a web browser. Since no other software is installed on the client machine, both support and version control costs are reduced.

The "middle tier" is where your business rules and processes are defined. AldaT uses Component Object Model (COM) compliant objects. These custom objects allow for quick and affordable changes to the software and also allow the processing to be shared across many computers. This means the application has room to grow.

The third tier is referred to as the "back end". The "back end" is where your data is stored. By using relational database theory and enterprise level database engines, AldaT can be sure your data will be stored with high levels of integrity and availability.
